How to Determine How an Online Money-Making Product Works

Doing a general 'money-making' search online will yield an avalanche of eBooks, videos, and tutorials which all claim to do the same thing: make you money. Some have claims of making hundreds, if not thousands of dollars within just a few hours of implementing their product.
Unfortunately a lot of these products come across as 'too good to be true', giving the online money-making business a bad name. Luckily, it's not all bad news for those seeking a product online. There are eBooks, videos and tutorials out there that are better then others, and they can be searched out with just a few simple things to check for.
First off, search for a review. Do a '-product name goes here- review' search on Google or something and see what it comes up with. A lot of the time you'll find the 'reviewer' won't actually tell you how it does work, but rather gush about the product. Keep searching.
Secondly, check how the product works. Read through the sales copy, and find out what you can about how the product works. Money-making sales copy tends to skip over how the product works. Find out what you can. Does it involve answering surveys? Does it involve Adwords (You can find this out by going to the Google Adwords website (adwords.google.com) and seeing if any of the screenshots match)? Does it have any of those 'proof of earnings' screenshots with a list of days, amounts of money earned and then a graph line? If so, then it probably involves affiliate marketing, because the screenshots are from Clickbank (clickbank.com).
Thirdly, I suggest that you ask someone. Some review websites have contact links, and if they do, send them an email asking how such and such works. They should know and be able to help you. Or, if the review website you visited doesn't have an email link, go back to the main sales page and email the owner. If you ask nicely, they should tell you how the product works. Try to look past all the filler that they will put in.
Finally, if you're keen to buy an online money making program, remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Always use common sense, and do try very hard not to be caught up in the hype. Good luck!
